Adobe Flash Games

Listed below are some of the games I programmed during my first semester at the University of Utah.  They are mostly simple games, but ones I enjoyed programming nevertheless.  Follow the links if you want to give them a go.

Each game starts as soon as the page loads, so be ready to jump right in.  Also be sure to click on the game window, so your inputs will be noticed.

Connect Four (Warcraft version):
Play connect four in style!  Side with either the humans or orcs in a most brutal strategic battle!  There are a few hidden buttons that trigger some additional battle music should you find them.

Circle Defense Game:
Hit the target in the middle by getting past the moving barriers.  Comes with several difficulty settings; each difficulty comes with a set amount of shots, affects the speed and number of barriers, and alters the movement of the target.  Click the button at the top of the screen to fire a shot; the button at the bottom left is a mute button.  A word of warning, insane difficulty is quite hard (there is an element of randomness as to where the barriers are spawned, and only 5 shots).

Pong Game :
Play pong, but with special attacks that affect both your paddle and the ball.  Requires two players:
Each player has 9 attack charges.  They recharge over time, so feel free to use them regularly.
Player 1 moves with W and A; Q enlarges the padde; A speeds up the ball; D slows down the ball.
Player 2 moves with the mouse; Down Key enlarges the padde; Right Key speeds up the ball; Left Key slows down the ball.

Tetris Game :
Use the down arrow to move the pieces downward, the right and left arrows to move horizontally, and the up arrow to rotate. Speed increases as the player earns points.  It's Tetris!

Space Shooter :
This game is a typical space side-scrolling shooter.  There are several weapon upgrades, barriers, a slew of enemy ships to destroy, and even a boss.  There is two player capability by pressing 2.  Player one uses the arrow keys to move and the A button to fire.  Player 2 uses the mouse to move and clicking to fire.

There are several upgrades of note in this game.  The red one is scatter shot, blue is laser fire (goes through enemies), orange is rapid fire (hold down the key, but you have to stand still), and green adds a barrier to the ship.

When the game loads, be sure to scroll down to see it (I had to move it farther down the page because of some scaling issues). The reset button is a bit buggy, so I recommend just reloading the page to reset.
